I just have to say it...

I can't believe anyone was seriously referring to Hui Seung Cho as a foreign student from Korea. Like he just showed up to come to college in the U.S.

WTF?!

He's lived in the United States since he was 8. If there's any cultural blame to be assessed it would have to be with the US! It'd have been far more sane to have referred to him as Korean American but I'm sure that wasn't the portrayal the media was going for to begin with. *roll eyes* Whatev.

What he did sucks big time but there's no reason to try to draw a line between "them" & "us" when there isn't one in reality! Some of the most effective head cases in the world are cultivated right under the Stars & Stripes so don't try pawning them off on other cultures.

Reflection On Jury Duty

Today I went to Jury Duty. The woman who sat next to me had on a really nice suit. She also had really revolting B.O. And not the kind you can overlook... she smelled like ass. She got up three times and each time... horrid. I had to move.

Seriously.

Politics & ICD-9

So, is cancer the new political candidate "Must Have" Accessory?

I feel like somewhere there are PR firms trying to figure out a way to one-up someone else's diagnosis.

Beige M&Ms Remind Me of Kaopectate

The best M&Ms are the green... I'm eternally grateful I never have too many blue... I voted for purple... I never liked the beige M&Ms and the brown should have been outlawed long ago.
